Frequently Asked Questions

My card was charged a weird amount. What is this for?

We charge a 3.5% credit card fee for all online transactions done through our Vagaro booking system. If you received a receipt via email, it will also show what was charged to your card. For example: 50% deposit for make-up, 3.5% credit card fee, etc.


Do I have to pay my deposit by debit/credit card only? Are there any other options?

Absolutely! You may pay your deposit via cash, Venmo or Zelle as well. Please connect with us if you would like to exercise this option when booking your appointment so we don't charge your card on file.


I'm running late to my appointment! What do I do?

Please give us a call if you are running late to your appointment. We will do our very best to accomodate you and adjust accordingly within the limits of our policy. Please note that after 15 minutes, your appointment will be automatically cancelled and your card will be charged the remaining amount of your booked services (along with a 3.5% credit card fee). Please see LATE/CANCELLATION POLICIES for more information.


My appointment was cancelled! Was that a mistake?

Your appointment was likely cancelled due to a debit/credit card not being on file and we were unable to get ahold of you to retrieve one. If this is the case, please give us a call so we may add a card to your file in order to process your required deposit. If this is not the case, your appointment may have been cancelled because you exceeded your 15-minute grace period if you were running late. Please see LATE/CANCELLATION POLICIES for more information. 


I didn't get a confirmation for my appointment! What happened?

Please ensure that you are opted into receiving notifications via Email or Text from our Vagaro booking system. If you are opted out, you will not receive confirmation notifications or information regarding your appointment. Please give us a call or email us to help guide you.


What is the earliest appointment I can book?

As long as we have an artist or hairstylist available, we accept early AM appointments before 8:15am for an additional $50.


What is the latest appointment I can book?

As long as availability permits, we can accomodate later appointments for $35 if your appointment extends past 7:00pm.


I cannot locate your studio. HELP!

We are located right next to Kelly-Moore Paints and directly across from Enterprise Rent-a-Car in the Durante Bldg Plaza. We are right in between the N. Main St. and Treat Blvd. exits off the 680 fwy. You will see THE GLAM BAR signage as soon as you see the Durante Bldg tower.


It's Saturday -- I've been calling and can't get ahold of anyone. Are you open on the weekends?

Yes, we are! Saturdays tend to be busier for us as high-demand appointment days, so if we missed your call, our voicemail will prompt you with directions on the next steps. You can also book your appointment online by clicking on the bottom below.


The appointment I want is unavailable. Is there any way you can squeeze me in?

Our Vagaro booking system reflects our availability as accurately as possible. We do our best to accommodate each and every client if our availability permits. If you do not see the time you want available, please feel free to add yourself to our waitlist online so that if there are any cancellations, we can give you a call. I stopped by the studio and no one was there. Are you not open all day?

We are open by appointment only or could possibly be providing services on location at the time you stopped by. We can schedule a time for you to stop by the studio -- please call or email us if you'd like to do so.


Do you take last minute appointments on the day of?

I have some questions about pricing and/or booking the proper appointment. What's the best way to connect with you?

Does my make-up appointment include false eyelashes?

All make-up appointments EXCEPT Soft Make-up include false eyelashes. If you prefer a thicker, more dramatic look, you can upgrade from false lashes to faux mink lashes for an additional $20.


Are you able to come to my location or do you only offer services in your studio?

We absolutely offer services on location! Whether you are getting ready at a hotel, an office, event venue or your home -- we can come to you! An On Location Fee and 20% Gratuity per artist providing services will be required for any and all services provided on location. Your On Location Fee will be priced based on your location and your 20% Gratuity will be calculated based on the total price of the services booked.


Is your studio exercising the county's local COVID-19 mandate? If so, what can I expect when I come in for my appointment?

Yes, we are currently following proper guidelines with respect to CCC's COVID-19 mandate. Please do not bring additional guests or personal items such as food/drinks or extra clothing. You may of course bring your purse and cell phone. Any personal belongings you come in with must be placed underneath the vanity station where you are receiving your service, safe and away from cross-contaminating your artist's or hairstylist's work station. Please wear a mask upon arrival -- you may only remove your mask when receiving make-up services. You will also be asked to wash your hands as you enter our establishment prior to the start of your appointment. Please also be advised that you will receive a COVID-19 Waiver and Pre-Appointment DIsclosure via email or text regarding majority of this information so you are adequately prepared for your appointment prior to arrival.


I wasn't aware of your policy about your late and cancellation fees or your COVID-19 guidelines. Why was I not informed?

The Glam Bar makes every effort to communicate our policies and guidelines. When you first book your appointment, your confirmation email will disclose some important information for you to know regarding your appointment and our Late and Cancellation policies. You will also be emailed or texted a COVID-19 disclosure form and a Pre-Appointment Disclosure that requires your signature and acknowledgment. The Glam Bar reserves the right to charge the client any fees necessary based on our policies. We aim to ensure respect for all parties and in doing so, The Glam Bar reserves th right to refuse service to anyone not abiding by our policy.
